CASE STUDIES by Alana Armstrong

Client: Let’s Get Moving
Website: letsgetmoving.ca + letsgetmovingusa.com
Project Duration: January – June 2024
Deliverables: SEO strategy, city landing page content, full copywriting & editing, image testing, AI-assisted content workflows

Let’s Get Moving has over 40 dedicated location pages that each got unique content that maintains brand integrity and voice.

🚚 The Challenge

Let’s Get Moving needed to overhaul their Canadian website and simultaneously launch a U.S. counterpart.

They wanted to stand out in a saturated moving market by offering credible, localized information that felt human—while also scaling fast enough to match their expansion timeline.

Their old content was generic and keyword-stuffed. Their new content needed to build trust, reflect real data about moving trends, and win on local SEO in both countries.

💡 The Solution

Over six months, I planned and developed the content strategy for both sites—building a content system that merged AI-assisted production with a strong editorial voice.

  • Wrote and edited 40+ pages featuring top destinations for moves (e.g. Toronto, Vancouver, Austin, Miami)

  • Used real migration trend data (e.g., U-Haul reports, census updates) to increase credibility

  • Developed long-tail keyword strategies for each city (e.g., "movers in Mississauga," “best moving company in Dallas suburbs”)

  • Created a repeatable workflow using GPT-based drafting + human editing for quality control

  • Tested copy tone and visuals to align with each country’s brand tone

Let’s Get Moving’s USA website invites quote-seekers and potential franchise owners to learn more about their options.

📈 The Results

A refreshed, trust-building web presence across Canada and the U.S.

  1. A scalable content system capable of adapting to new markets

  2. Dozens of city landing pages tailored to real-world trends and user intent

  3. A smart blend of AI and editorial oversight that reduced turnaround time without sacrificing quality

✍️ Why This Project Matters

This project sharpened my ability to lead cross-border content strategy, localize SEO at scale, and develop efficient systems that blend automation with real human creativity. It’s a perfect example of how I help growing brands scale content without losing authenticity.
